Olga Bezsmertna has been awarded the prestigious Franco Abbiati Prize, the annual award of the National Association of Music Critics in Italy, in the Best Female Singer category!
In the year 2023 the Ukrainian soprano could be heard in Italy as Rusalka and the Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Dutchess of Parma (Doktor Faust) at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, and with Beethoven’s 9th Symphony at the Teatro dell`Opera di Roma.
Other engagements included the Countess Almaviva at the Semperoper Dresden, Desdemona (Otello) at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Margarethe (Faust) at the Sigulda Opera Festival, as well as Górecki`s Symphony No. 3 “of Sorrowful Songs” with the Filharmonica Slaska.
On May 9, 2024, Olga will perform the soprano part in Beethoven`s Symphony No. 9 at the Teatro alla Scala under the baton of Maestro Riccardo Chailly.
